Advanced Training Course for the European Steel Sector

11 to 15 May 2015

Terni, Italy

Aims

The EU steel industry has gone through a long period of crisis since 2008 with the consequent reduction of  capacity and production. Restructuring is still experiencing a rapid evolution, both in terms of business and management structures as well as  from a technological point of view. Such developments have implications for the steel market as well as the for the production cycle. In order to successfully manage these developments, the personnel  needs to possess analytical and managerial skills, supported by a deep knowledge of the industry. They need to understand and address the technology-driven operations and organization changes taking place within their companies. This is essential to allow the middle management to be actively involved in the implementation of company’s policies and contribute positively to the on-going developments.

Target group

The 2015 Eurosteelmaster is  addressed to managers, technical staff, researchers, trade unionists and other professionals operating in the steel industry and in closely related areas.
